i think i finally figured out why i like lana.
i think it’s because since the beginning she’s always seemed like a normal person. a singer who’s awkward, not conventionally sexy, with a voice that’s pretty but breakable. she’s vulnerable. people like rihanna, with their stage look, the magnitude of their stage shows, their seemingly impenetrable confidence—-almost seem to come from another planet. but lana, she’s one of us.
